Czech players Josef Vasicek, Jan Marek and Karel Rachunek were on Yaroslavl’s roster this season along with Stefan Liv of Sweden and Slovak Pavol Demitra. Canadian manager Brad McCrimmon was coaching Lokomotiv this season
